Prof. Johnson was slated to give a seminar talk at the Center for Space and Physics at Boston University. This talk is being rescheduled due to COVID-19.

Matt Weller will be at the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in The Woodlands, Texas. Details: "Exploring the Evolution and Habitability of Planets: Coupling of the Mantle-Atmosphere System"

December 9th-13th, 2019

AGU FALL MEETING

Prof. Johnson and Matt Weller will be at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall meeting in San Francisco, California. Prof. Johnson is chairing and giving a talk as part of Session P003 - Atmospheric Processes, Particles, and Chemistry. Talk details: Wednesday, December 11th at 2:10 pm "Laboratory Studies of Extraterrestrial Clouds through Terrestrial Means." Matt is presenting a poster as part of Session P23B - Planetary Atmospheres and Evolution. Poster details: Tuesday, December 10th at 1:40 pm "Exploring the evolution of the coupled mantle-atmosphere system: A 1D parameterized approach."

August 2nd & 3rd, 2019

BROWN UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

Both Dana Altoaimi and Kimberly Hernandez will be presenting posters on their summer research at the on-campus symposium. Physical science posters will take place on Aug 3rd. Poster details: "Electrodynamic particle trapping for exoplanet atmospheric studies" will be presented by Dana and "ZnS and KCl clouds in exoplanets: GJ 1214b" will be presented by Kimberly.

July 24-28th, 2019

LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

Kimberly Hernandez will be attending and giving a talk at the LANS annual Research Conference in Hartford, CT on her work in the Johnson Cloud Lab through the Leadership Alliance Program at Brown University. Talk details: "ZnS and KCl clouds on exoplanets: GJ 1214b"

David Tersegno will be attending and presenting a poster at the 5th Emerging Researchers in Exoplanet Sciences (ERES) Symposium held at Cornell. Poster details: Monday, June 17th at 2 pm "Characterizing the ExoEDB Electrodynamic Levitator"

AAS 234TH MEETING

Prof. Johnson will be giving an invited talk at the 234th American Astronomical Society (AAS) meeting held jointly with AAS Solar Physics and Laboratory Astrophysics Divisions (LAD) in St. Louis, Missouri. Talk details: Monday, June 10th at 2:50 pm 'Exploring Exoplanet Cloud at home and Abroad' in the Bridging Laboratory and Astrophysics: Exoplanets I session.
